The Phenix Center concludes a training for civil society to build their capacities for community outreach

The Phenix Center for Economic and Information Studies concluded a training for civil society organizations to build their capacities in community outreach and strategic planning.

The two-day training focused on the steps and importance of community outreach for civil society organizations in enhancing cooperation between people and governments, reducing the large burdens on the government, solving multiple issues in a timely manner, reducing the challenges and issues faced by community members, and working to bring about social changes by reducing barriers, inequality, and injustice.

The training also focused on how to support groups that are unable to access certain services or rights, empower them, and raise their awareness.

The training reviewed the importance of partnering with other local organizations working on similar issues, in addition to focusing on promotion methods on social media.

The training also reviewed the steps and importance of strategic planning in enhancing the effectiveness, sustainability, and ability of civil society organizations to bring about positive change in society.
